Baji KYC & AML Policy
Baji operates under strict Know Your Customer (KYC) and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) obligations as part of its commitment to lawful and responsible gaming in Bangladesh. These policies are designed to verify the identity of every account holder, prevent fraudulent activity, and ensure that the platform is not used for financial crime or the financing of terrorism. All users are required to cooperate fully with these procedures as a condition of access to the platform.
Purpose of Identity Verification and Financial Crime Prevention
Baji applies KYC and AML standards to confirm user identities, uphold fair play, and guard against financial crime across all transactions on the platform. These measures form the foundation of a secure, transparent, and regulation-compliant environment for all users in Bangladesh.
The core guarantees these policies provide include:
- Fair play ensured through verified participation and equal conditions for every account holder
- User safety maintained through consistent identity checks and account protection measures
- Transparency in how personal data is collected, processed, and used in line with regulatory requirements
- Full regulatory compliance with applicable laws governing online gaming and financial transactions in Bangladesh
KYC Requirements and Document Submission
Every new user is required to complete ID verification before accessing full platform features, including deposits, withdrawals, and participation in real-money games. The following categories of documentation may be requested during the identity check process:
- A valid, government-issued photo identification document (such as a national identity card, passport, or driving licence)
- Proof of current residential address issued by a recognised authority or institution within an acceptable time frame
- Confirmation of ownership of the payment method used for deposits or withdrawals on the account
Baji reserves the right to request additional documentation at any stage if further verification is deemed necessary under its security measures or regulatory obligations.
AML Controls and Transaction Monitoring
Baji maintains a comprehensive set of controls to detect, prevent, and report money laundering, terrorist financing, and other prohibited financial activity on the platform. These security measures are applied continuously and updated in accordance with evolving regulatory requirements.
The AML framework includes the following controls:
- Ongoing transaction monitoring to identify irregular or suspicious activity across all user accounts
- Automated detection systems that flag transactions or behavioural patterns inconsistent with normal account usage
- Enhanced due diligence applied to high-risk events, including large or irregular account activity
- Formal review procedures for transfers that are unusually large, frequent, or otherwise inconsistent with a user’s stated profile
- Risk scoring assigned to accounts based on activity patterns, geographic factors, and transaction history
- Screening of all users against international sanctions lists and Politically Exposed Persons (PEP) databases
- Reporting of suspicious activity to the relevant competent authorities in Bangladesh where required by law
Prohibited Activities Under Platform Security Policy
Certain actions are strictly prohibited on the platform in order to uphold the integrity of KYC and AML standards and to protect all users from harm. The following activities are not permitted under any circumstances:
- Operating or attempting to operate more than one account under the same or different identities
- Submitting forged, altered, or stolen documents during the identity check or document submission process
- Using the platform in any manner intended to launder funds or conceal the origin of money
- Manipulating platform systems, games, or transactions to circumvent security measures or gain an unfair advantage
- Transferring, sharing, or selling account access to any third party
- Using payment instruments that are not registered in the account holder’s own name
- Providing false, incomplete, or misleading personal data at any stage of registration or verification
Consequences of Policy Violations
Any breach of KYC or AML obligations will result in enforcement action, the severity of which will correspond to the nature and extent of the violation. Measures that may be applied include temporary or permanent account suspension, freezing or confiscation of funds linked to suspicious activity, cancellation of bets or winnings derived from non-compliant conduct, and reporting to the competent authorities in Bangladesh where applicable.
User Responsibilities and Account Holder Obligations
Every user bears a direct responsibility to provide accurate, complete, and up-to-date personal data at all times. Verification must be completed within the timeframe requested by the platform, and users are expected to respond promptly to any request for additional documentation or clarification. Only payment methods registered in the account holder’s own name may be used for financial transactions on the platform. Users are also responsible for notifying the platform of any suspicious activity they observe in connection with their account. Failure to meet these obligations may result in restricted access or further enforcement action in accordance with the platform’s AML and KYC policy.

Baji is committed to upholding fair play and transparency as core principles that protect users and preserve the integrity of the platform for all participants. The following standards guide the platform’s approach to compliance and user safety:
